VIAOPTIC expands its portfolio of optical coatings
Due to the continuing high demand, VIAOPTIC has expanded its production capacities in the area of aluminium coating and added an AR system to its portfolio of coatings in addition to gold and aluminium. The newly available technology results in the following advantages for our customers:
- Application-optimised solutions:
Our engineering, optical design and vapour deposition team works closely with our customers to develop solutions that require customised components, e.g. masking for uncoated areas.
-Coated prototypes:
Together with in-house ultra-precision manufacturing, the new facility provides opportunities to enhance prototypes with high-quality coatings to reduce lead times and gain important insights for eventual volume production.
-Increased efficiency:
By combining all process steps under one roof, not only can productivity and quality be increased, but throughput times can also be significantly reduced.
-Expanded possibilities:
The AR system opens up new horizons, including the production of fitting filters and aluminium enhanced coatings in order to be able to respond even more specifically to certain customer requirements.
